You heard right! Mona Baldwin is coming out of retirement for one more class with us! Come join Mona and crew at the Hoppodrome Etc. Building in Julesburg, Colorado for a 2 day fun filled educational class. You will learn the “Magic” of cutting out fabric to design exquisite quilts like the one pictured above. You will cut out your project most of day one and begin working on the blocks once cutting is complete. You will be taught the technique so you can complete your project at home on your own. The goal is to get the entire quilt top cut out and a few blocks done before class is finished.

You will need to purchase your fabric ahead of time, we have several “Mona approved” yardage abailable at the shop! Here are the fabric requirements for our project. Materials:

Regular sewing machine and notions - seam ripper, extra needles, scissors, thread to match your fabric, bobbins

Large cutting mat - 24”or larger

Rotary cutter - Mona says a 60mm is best since we will be cutting through several layers at once

Large cutting ruler - 6.5” x 24” or larger

Sewing tape measure

Fabric required for project - you can make the throw or queen size, just be sure to have enough fabric for whichever one you choose!
